    The local news is an extremely important type of information to know as what is going on in your community is the most likely to affect you directly. Local news stations offer a down-to-earth and relatable way to absorb information about what is happening in your area, as many newscasters for local stations also live in the area and have firsthand experience of what your community is like. I enjoy listening to the local news because I enjoy knowing about events happening in my community.

2. Fox News https://www.foxnews.com/


    Although known for being biased, Fox News is still an excellent source of information. This is especially true for the online articles, removed from the biases of segment hosts or the main anchors. I like Fox News as it has been my main source of information for years, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to know about global events.

3. CNN https://www.cnn.com/



    CNN is an excellent source of information through both online articles and television broadcasts. CNN offers information on current events and global news. I recommend CNN because the anchors on television broadcasts as well as online articles are all very professional and largely informational, rather than opinion based. CNN offers a different perspective than Fox News, and it is important as a consumer of information to have many perspectives on a topic.

4. The Weather Channel https://weather.com/

    Some of the most important information to know if you even think about leaving the house is the local weather. The Weather Channel is an invaluable source of information as it delivers information on meteorological events which directly affect the world around us. This information is delivered in a clean and easy to understand way, and can be checked in mere seconds to see the forecast for the day. The Weather Channel also provides information on ecological and scientific events as well.

5. The Babylon Bee https://babylonbee.com/

    Despite the satirical nature of the Babylon Bee, I have learned of many current and past events through it, especially of political origin. The Babylon Bee does not provide accurate information and is meant only for satirical purposes, however it can bring attention to a real event, and arouse the reader's curiosity about what the satirical article is actually based on.

                The video brings to light several facets of artificial intelligence technology that are both major leaps forward for humanity but also intensely problematic for society as a whole. Artificial intelligence has the ability to simultaneously improve the workforce by reducing the need for human input on mundane tasks and also take much needed jobs away from people thus creating more unemployment. Artificial intelligence has given human beings access to driverless cars and automated assembly lines, but this takes away jobs from people who may not have any other opportunities. Automation can be good for the economy by increasing output and decreasing the amount of wages paid so companies profit. There is a cost to this however, as complicated machinery needs constant upkeep and is not nearly as reliable as a human person.       The pioneers of personal computers were primarily scientists and mathematicians who used these computers for data entry and calculation. They pioneered this technology due to the fact that it was more convenient than writing on paper and was somewhat more permanent than paper as well. Computers did a large amount of the calculations for the user, therefore making it a matter of convenience to pioneer this technology. The early adopters of personal computers were still primarily scientists and university students. Computers were not consumer  friendly and could only be understood by someone who held a degree in computer science at the time. By the time of the early majority, personal computers had been invented and were far more consumer friendly, but still lacked a real appeal outside of their original purposes for calculation.
